Cars and the Memorial Day Weekend

Raleigh, NC Lawyers

According to AAA Carolinas approximately 865,000 Carolinians will travel 50 or more miles this coming holiday weekend with a majority of those travelling by car. That number is up three percent from last year.

With the higher than normal amount of cars on the roadways there are greater chances of being the victim of a motor vehicle crash. Some tips as stated by the NC DOT:

Buckle Up;

  • Don’t drink and drive;
  • Stay alert;
  • Obey the speed limit;
  • Minimize distractions.
