Randleman, NC -- Highway Patrol responded to a one vehicle accident on Moore Road late Saturday night.

According to Highway Patrol, the call came in at 11:48 pm on a overturned car.

Troopers said the vehicle was traveling north bound on Moore Road when it went left of center, and the driver over corrected colliding with an embankment. The collision caused the car to overturn.

Investigators said the driver, 21 year-old Cory Michele Wood died at the scene.

Troopers believe alcohol was a contributing factor in the crash. They are waiting on lab results to confirm if the driver had indeed been drinking.
