CHARLOTTE, NC - Police say a teen is lucky she wasn't hurt after T-boning another car and flipping her SUV in south Charlotte Monday morning.

The accident happened around 7:54 a.m. at the intersection of Providence Road and Strawberry Hill Road.

According to the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department, the 17-year-old was driving south on Providence Road.

Police say the teen T-boned a passenger car, lost control of her SUV, ran off the right side of the road and struck a tree.

According to MEDIC, the teen was not injured in the wreck. Police said the teen was wearing her seatbelt.
